Filipino Food and Innovation Meet at the DTI National Food Fair 2025
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has launched the DTI – Bagong Pilipinas National Food Fair 2025, which aims to promote local entrepreneurship and economic growth, as well as introduce regional food cultures to the rest of the country. The fair features over 250 food stalls offering a diverse range of local products, from traditional dishes to innovative creations.
Some highlights of the fair include:

  • Fresh produce from local farmers
  • Local food like lumpia being cooked right before your eyes
  • Mango kimchi that combines Filipino and Korean flavors
  • Mulberry juices and jams made from local mulberries
  • Malunggay-infused pizza from RedBox Pizza

The fair also features a special KAPEtirya area, where visitors can enjoy unique coffee and dessert options, such as freshly baked cream puffs from Mr. Puffer.

Filipino food is a unique blend of different cultures and flavors, shaped by the country’s history, geography, and climate. From the use of coconut milk to the incorporation of spices and herbs, Filipino cuisine is a reflection of the country’s rich cultural heritage.
